American Red Cross Licensed CPR Training

Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid training is available in a blended learning course or an instructor-led course.

The blended learning (BL) course is divided into two sessions: an online session and then a subsequent in-person skills session that is similar to the instructor-led course.

The blended learning in-person session is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Important Note about Blended Learning

 The online training must be completed prior to the in-person skills session. Proof of completion for the online training must be provided to the instructor to qualify for and proceed with the in-person skills session. The online training must be completed individually and each person must provide their own proof of completion. 

**It has been brought to our attention that if you complete the online training on your cell phone you must do it in one setting as it does not correctly save your progress. Once completed on your cell phone, screenshot the page that says "Congratulations" as it does not always send an email stating you completed the online portion.

There have not been issues reported when completing the online training on a computer.

The instructor-led (IL) course is designed to be fully taught in person. The course is a mix of lecture, video and demonstration to provide knowledge-based learning, and skill practice to provide hands-on learning. Participants are required to demonstrate skill competency during skill practice and assessment scenarios. 

The instructor-led training is 4 hours and 15 minutes.

After successful completion, you will receive certification that is valid for two years and access to a wide range of refresher materials.

**The in-person training for blended learning and instructor-led requires a minimum number of participants. If this number is not met, the training will be rescheduled.**
