This curriculum is one part of the assessment process required for all families who wish to be licensed as a traditional foster home. Participants must be approved by the licensing worker in your county of residence. (10 week training)

TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection. (8 week training)

This two hour training will walk you through how to handle a disclosure and what to expect for next steps.

This seven hour training is required of all licensed resource families in their first 2 years of licensure. This training will discuss ways to protect and nurture sibling relationships within your home, biological families, or across multiple homes when siblings are not able to be placed together.

This twelve hour training is required for all traditionally licensed families who are planning to adopt. It is also strongly encouraged for families who are planning to adopt or pursue guardianship for a relative placement.
